Almost F1 Champions
Stirling Moss almost won the championship in four consecutive Formula1 seasons 55, 56, 57 and 58. Alain Prost also finished on the second place in four seasons in 83,84,88 and 90. The difference is that Prost succeed to win the championship in other years (4 F1 title)
Two drivers finished on second place in three seasons : Graham Hill and Nigel Mansell.
A total of 39 drivers finished the a season in Formula1 Championship on second place. 19 of them did not won ever the title :
