How many victories need a driver to be a F1 champion?

This question is regarding the number of victories in the season a Formula1 driver won the title. In some seasons we have driver who became Champions with only one victory Keke Rosberg in 1982 and Mike Harthorn in 1958, and there is a seasons with 13 victories for Michael Schumacher.

In 1958 Mike Harthorn won the title with only one victory, while Stirling Moss had 4 victories in that season. But Harthorn had more good races in that season.

Mike Hawthorn finished 1958 seasons, only with 42 points, since for that season count only top 6 results.

1982 is the other season where the Formula 1 Champion one only a race. Keke Rosberg won only at Dijon-Prenois, but in that season there were five drivers which won 2 races Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, Didier Pironi, John Watson and Rene Arnoux. In that season Rosberg had one pole 6 podiums, finished in points in 10 F1 races.

Keke Rosberg and Mike Harthorn won the Formula1 Championship only in this seasons.

Four drivers won the championship with 2 victories : Jack Brabham 1959, Phil Hill 1961, John Surtees 1964 and Denny Hulme in 1967.

2004 was last season when Michael Schumacher won the F1 Championship. In 2004 Michael Schumacher had 13 victories, 15 podiums, 8 pole positions and 10 fastest laps. It was a big season for Schumacher since at number of victories for that season is followed by Rubens Barrichello with 2 victories. Raikkonen, Trulli and Montoya won each a race in 2004.
